Helping Teachers Teach and Learners Learn

Project CRISS . . .

  • Provides professional development for educators.
    In a 12-24 hours workshop, Project CRISS trainers model for teachers how they can incorporate the CRISS learning principles and strategies into their regular classroom instruction with the ultimate goal of creating students who are independent learners.

  • Helps students become independent learners.
    Project CRISS for Students I and II are semester curriculum designed to teach the CRISS Framework for Learning and strategies directly to students. The curricula are appropriate for students in grades 5-12.

  • Guides administrators to effective school change.
    CRISS for Administrators gives guidance to administrators and CRISS implementation teams on how to plan, implement, and maintain Project CRISS in a school or district.

  • Teaches parents ways to help their children in school.
    The Project CRISS for Parents flipbook and workshop acquaint parents with the learning principles and ten of the strategies their students use in class.

  • Advises homeschool parents on ways to help their children learn.
    Project CRISS for Homeschool Parents provides guidance to parent educators who home school their children by helping them incorporate the CRISS principles and strategies into their children's learning experiences.
